I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community, with an excellent staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and happy, engaged children. Being a small school, we build strong relationships. We seek to recognise, value and nurture the individual qualities that make each child unique. Each of us brings our own skills, abilities, gifts and talents. We strive for all children to achieve their best academically and socially as they progress in their learning journey.

Our aim is to provide teaching and learning that is stimulating, challenging and tailored to the needs of each individual child. We want our pupils to be enquiring learners who are able to pursue their interests and make meaningful contributions in the world, using their excellent standard of education as a basis. To achieve this, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom. Our school building is set in idyllic rural surroundings, with its own sports field, outside classroom and trim trail. We make maximum use of the outdoor environment in the children’s learning here at Selborne C of E Primary School, which includes the provision of weekly Outdoor Learning lessons, as well as local walks, trips and excursions further afield.

Our core Christian Values of Love, Courage, Fellowship and Truth are rooted into everything that we do and we are incredibly proud of our school.
